Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

Libelula Counseling adheres to mandatory privacy legislation and will not share any personal health information or the content of our sessions outside of Libelula Counseling Services without your knowledge and consent, except in the following circumstances as required by law:

• When there is a clear and imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else.

• When there is suspicion of abuse or neglect to a minor (under 18 years old) or vulnerable adult.

• When a court of law subpoenas the record.

While there is always risk of breach in electronic communications, security is maximized by using a HIPPA compliant and encrypted platforms. Libelula Counseling utilizes Squarespace and Owl-Practice as secure means of connecting remotely.

No-Show and Late-Cancelation Policy

All appointments must be canceled at least with 24 hours in advance. A $199 session fee will be charged when you don't cancel your appointment with at least 24-hours in advance.

Late-Show Policy

Should you be late to our appointment, you will be charged the full session fee of the appointment. The session will end at the original scheduled appointment time.
